Rosemarie Szedula has been designing kitchens, baths, and other home spaces in the Tampa Bay area since 2006. After taking a part-time job at a home center, she discovered her passion for kitchen design and decided to transition the skills she honed as a graphic designer into designing three dimensional spaces as a full-time career.
"I especially like designing islands because you can get creative with the shape of them and how the different cabinets fit together. I've always liked puzzles, and they're like a big puzzle."
She has turned many clients' dreams into reality by listening to what they want and need, finding out what their style is, and being mindful of their budgets. She believes functionality and organization are keys to getting the most out of the available space, which in turn makes them a joy to work and live in. She has a great eye for color and loves helping clients select just the right combinations of cabinets, countertop, tile, flooring, and fixtures that make each project uniquely fit her clients' personal style.
"The most rewarding part of what I do is when a client walks into their new kitchen or bath and knowing it makes them smile."
When she's not working, Rosemarie can be found in her own kitchen – cooking, baking tasty desserts, and canning delicious jams. She also enjoys traveling to Tennessee every year where she hikes the various state parks and goes horseback riding. Her other creative pursuits include calligraphy, stained glass, and assorted craft projects.
